Keep It Clean, Keep it Covered
J & T Gutters provide homeowners peace of mind by creating a healthy environment for their eavestroughs!
Eavestrough
It is important to have properly functioning eavestrough to move the water from your roofline to the downspouts. Positioning downspouts in the most efficient place allows the discharge of rainfall and snow thaw away from your foundation, keeping it dry and helping to prevent flooding. Proper coverage keeps your soffit and facia from becoming rotten. It should be a priority to maintain your eavestrough and ensure they are secured with Grade A hangers. The full length of the eavestrough is seamless, J & T Gutters runs the eavestrough out on site to your specific lengths.
Gutterguard
The main purpose of gutter guards is to keep debris from clogging your eavestrough and downspouts. A lack of gutter guards can mean frequent cleaning and more repairs.
Wet leaves, small branches and other debris that fill your eavestrough can trap water. When it builds up to much, the moisture can create mold growth. This can sometimes transfer to your roofline. The use of gutter guards keeps the debris from building up in the eavestrough.
If water soaked debris freezes it can become very heavy and take a chance of damaging your eavestrough.
Another significant advantage of gutter guards is keeping water flow moving swiftly without interruption from debris so that is can be carried thru the downspouts and away from your house. Keeping your eaves free of debris keeps the gutters from overflowing down into your foundation, preventing flooding.
Installing gutter guards is the best long-term solution to prolonging the life of your eavestrough and moving water away from your house effectively.
